UX/UI Strategy & Product Designer
Designing a healthcare app means balancing technical complexity with emotional sensitivity. The main challenge was converting sensitive clinical processes—booking, digital health records, and wait-time tracking—into an intuitive, reassuring experience that reduces patient anxiety while handling confidential medical data seamlessly.
Alignment & Audit: Collaborated with the Product Owner to analyze domain constraints and conducted heuristic evaluations to identify friction points. UX/UI & System Integration: Built user flows and wireframes leveraging the design system, focusing on progressive disclosure and accessible, non-aggressive communication. In-House Research: Internalized the usability testing workflow, running prototype tests with real users before development to validate decisions and continuously refine the product.
A person-centred, paperless digital healthcare assistant, featuring a registration process based on a screening questionnaire that collects data to provide an experience better tailored to the user’s needs, smart appointment records and a medical record that is always accessible to both the patient and the centre’s doctor. The project has successfully established a design framework underpinned by empathy towards patients, which has led to the creation of an app that supports the patient at every stage.
